You may start or stop water and sewer service with the Town of Leesburg by completing and submitting an on-line application.
Sign Up for High Water Usage Alerts
Sometimes spikes in water usage can mean leaks or other plumbing problems need to be fixed, so being alerted early can help you keep your water bills low. Leesburg customers can sign up to receive automatic alerts when usage exceeds a set threshold, through our High Usage Notification/Alert System.
Billing, payment, and additional account information can be found on the Water and Sewer Bills page. If after reviewing that information, your question is not answered, you can submit your question to Town staff using the Water & Sewer Billing Questions online form.

Water Quality & Service Issues
If you have an issue with your water quality (odor, taste, appearance) or some other issue with your water or sewer service, you can submit your concern using the Water & Sewer Service Issues online form.
Water Leak or Sewer Backup?
If you suspect you have a water leak or a sanitary sewer backup, please contact the Town of Leesburg Utility Department before you call a plumber. For more information, please review our "First Call" Policy.
Annual Backflow Testing
If you have a lawn irrigation system or a fire suppression sprinkler system in your home, your system's backflow prevention devices must be inspected annually and the test results submitted to the Town. For more information, please see our Backflow Prevention Program page.

For all other water or sanitary sewer concerns, please call the Town’s Utility Department at (703) 771-2750, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, or call the Leesburg Police non-emergency number at (703) 771-4500 after hours. We are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to serve our customers.
