Consider Reuse instead of Refuse!

Before scheduling for a bulk pickup or taking inelegible items to the landfill for disposal, the Town of Leesburg encourages citizens and businesses to consider other options for disposing of unwanted items.

Did you know there are a number of other possibilities located in Leesburg and in nearby areas in the county?  Thrift shops and reuse stores are great resources for disposing of unwanted items.  Many of these organizations sell donated items as a main source of funding for the charities they serve.  They depend on donations to make sales to support the needs of the community.

Please check with the individual organization before taking in items for donations.  During various times of the year, they may have a surplus of certain items or lack of space in their facility to store donations and may not be able to accept what you wish to donate.
