Town Council has authorized the service of sidewalk dining on public sidewalks adjacent to restaurants. In order to be granted permission to install tables and chairs on Town sidewalks, restaurants must complete a Sidewalk Dining Permit Application and have the application approved by the Town. Below are links to the PDF application as well as the permit instructions and checklist. Please be sure to review the requirements carefully and bring all required documents with you when submitting your permit application. Missing or incomplete submissions may delay the approval process. Restaurants may NOT install tables and chairs on public sidewalks without an approved permit.
Please review the permit instructions/checklist and complete the permit application. The application form should be printed, signed and brought or mailed to the Town of Leesburg Department of Public Works. A fee of $100 (via check made payable to the Town of Leesburg, cash in exact amount, or credit card - payable at the first floor Finance Department counter) is required for the permit application. Please allow ten (10) business days of processing time of your permit request. You will be notified when the permit is ready for pickup or you may request to have a copy of the permit emailed to you with a hard copy to follow.
