SUMMER DAY CAMP - 2017
The Town of Leesburg’s Department of Parks and Recreation offers a variety of summer camp programs for children from preschool age to middle school. The camps are held at Ida Lee Park Recreation Center and include full day and half day programs. Swimming lessons is also available as a add-on to our full day Kids and Ida Fun Camp programs.  Camps for the 2018 season will run June 18 - August 17, 2018 .  Camp information and medical forms must be on file before your child's first day of camp.  Completed forms can be submitted to the front desk at Ida Lee Recreation Center or by email to the Camps Manager.

<Summer Day Camp Swimming Lessons(Ages 5-12)
Children participating in full day Kids Camp and Ida Fun Camp will have the opportunity to participate in group swimming lessons each day at the conclusion of the summer camp program.  If your child is registered for the corresponding week of summer camp, they are able to participate.  Camp Counselors will take campers to their lessons each day and remain with them until parents pick up at the conclusion of the lesson.  
After care with Kamp Keepers is also available.

Tiny Tykes Camp (Ages 3 & 4, Child must turn 3 or 4 before May 1st)
Preschoolers will engage in circle time activities, indoor play and outdoor play, create art projects, enjoy music time and have plenty of free play.  Children need to bring a snack and drink daily. The Tiny Tykes swim on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the last half hour of their camp day.  Children should bring a towel and wear their swimsuits under their clothes on swim days.  All children attending Tiny Tykes must be potty trained.

All participants must pay a non-refundable registration fee in order to register for a camp session. This fee includes two camp T-shirts that will be distributed to children on the first day of their camp session. Additional T-shirts may be purchased.  This program is licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia and parents must provide a copy of the child’s health and immunization record and original birth certificate or passport to attend.  Camper information and forms are available for download above.

Kids Mini Camp (Campers Entering Kindergarten or 1st grade)
Children will participate in a half-day recreational program that includes indoor swimming three times a week, arts & crafts, songs, and indoor and outdoor games and activities. Children need to bring a sunscreen, snack,and water bottle daily. They should bring a towel and wear their swimsuits on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for swimming.  The mini-camp will swim at AV Symington Aquatic Center on Wednesday mornings from 11:00 - 12:00pm. 

All participants must pay a non-refundable registration fee in order to register for a camp session. This fee includes two camp T-shirts that will be distributed to children on the first day of their camp session.  Additional T-shirts are available for purchase.  Camper information and forms are available for download above.

Kids Day Camp (Campers Entering Kindergarten or 1st grade)
Kindergartners and 1st graders will participate in a recreational camp program that includes daily indoor swimming, arts & crafts, structured indoor and outdoor games and activities, hikes, songs, and more.  Campers should bring two snacks, a bag lunch, full water bottle, swimsuit, towel and sunscreen to camp each day. 

All participants must pay a non-refundable registration fee in order to register for a camp session.  This fee includes two camp T-shirts to be worn daily. Additional T-shirts may be purchased. The camp fee includes two field trips; one trip to A.V. Symington Aquatic Center (Wednesdays) and one other trip during the week. Ida Fun Camp (Campers Entering Second grade - Sixth grade) 
Campers will participate in a recreational camp program that includes daily indoor swimming, arts & crafts, structured indoor and outdoor games and activities, hikes, songs, and more.  Campers should bring two snacks, a bag lunch, full water bottle, swimsuit, towel and sunscreen to camp each day. 

All participants must pay a non-refundable registration fee in order to register for a camp session.  This fee includes two camp T-shirts to be worn daily. Additional T-shirts may be purchased. The camp fee includes two field trips; one trip to A.V. Symington Aquatic Center (Wednesdays) and one other trip during the week. Teen Adventure Camp (Campers Entering 7th, 8th, 9th grade)
Campers will explore interesting and exciting destinations around the D.C., Virginia, West Virginia, and Maryland areas.  Teens will travel to places including water parks, sporting events, and adventure sites (i.e., rafting, tubing, climbing, hiking, and laser tag.)  In addition, they will venture to various indoor locations like skating, museums and the movies.  Campers will leave and return to Ida Lee Park each day via Loudoun County school buses or  the Town of Leesburg’s 12-passenger van.  Campers need to bring a lunch, snacks, drinks, water bottle, swimsuit, towel and sunscreen to camp each day.

Last Hurrah Camp (Ages 5-12)
Campers will enjoy this one week session at the conclusion of our normal camp season!  They will swim daily, play outdoor and indoor games, and enjoy arts & crafts time.  Campers should bring two snacks, a bag lunch, full water bottle, swimsuit, towel and sunscreen to camp each day.  Camper information and forms will be available for download above once registration begins.  Campers who participated in a regular 2016 summer camp session will not need any additional forms.

Kamp Keepers
This is a pre or post camp care for Kids, Ida Fun and Teen Adventure campers.  Campers will play indoor games and have some gym time under supervised care.

Kamp Keepers Drop In (Ages 5-14)
Drop in is a perfect solution for those who only need early drop-off or late pick-up once in a while. Check at the front desk for availability for the morning or afternoon that you need and put your worries aside.  Drop-in registration is not available until the week prior to camp beginning. Space is limited.
