Miscellaneous Roadway, Pedestrian, and ADA Projects information from Fiscal Year 2020 Budget (Project No. 20005)

Project Description:  Multi‐year project for design and construction of miscellaneous improvements to roadways, trails, and sidewalks to extend the
long‐term life of the facilities and to meet the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). This work will involve enhancing handicap ramps and crosswalks, eliminating trip hazards, deep patching of roadway pavements, construction of missing link sidewalks, and other related work.

  • Survey Consultant: Disability Access Consultants (DAC)

Project Updates:

As of September 6, 2019 - Survey underway.  Disability Access Consultants (DAC) surveyors are wearing blue DAC-branded shirts and identification tags, and will be taking measurements and pictures on public rights-of-way and properties throughout Town. Please know that DAC surveyors will not take pictures of residents or program participants. In addition, they will not discuss the survey work or their findings while conducting the survey. Information will be available to the public after the report is finalized.

In the near future, DAC will be evaluating communication platforms, public programs and activities as well as procedures/rules/processes that effect how the public accesses the Town’s programs and services.
