The Town of Leesburg recently completed a multi-phase project to improve signage. Several different types of signs were installed as part of this initiative:

Trailblazing & proximity signs – This initial phase of the project included 32 signs of three types which provide guidance to major locations and attractions in the Town.

  • Trailblazing signs (7) – These signs are the largest of this type and provide guidance to the historic downtown area, visitor information center, and courts/government offices.
  • Proximity signs (13) – These signs are intermediate in size and are located outside of the historic district with guidance to local attractions and major locations within the Town.
  • Historic district proximity signs (12) – These signs are the smallest of this type and are located in the historic district with guidance to local attractions and major locations within the Town.
