Brandon Park SignProject Description:  Brandon Park is a 3.2 acre park located on Harrison Street, between Catoctin Circle and Tuscarora Creek.  Park amenities include picnic tables and undesignated fields and the park is open daily from dawn to dusk.  More information regarding Town of Leesburg parks can be found here.

The Town recently constructed a handicap accessible playground area at the park. Although it will benefit all children in Town, this playground will particularly serve children that have mobility problems and will provide an area where every child can play. The improvements include:

  • Brandon Park 1Playground equipment
  • Trail between Harrison Street and the playground
  • New handicap accessible parking spaces and sidewalk on Harrison Street

The project was partially funded through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program. This is a federal program where the US Department of Housing and Urban Development provides grants to local governments directed toward a wide variety of community and economic development activities. Locally, the program is administered by Loudoun County.
