Welcome to Leesburg's most popular beautification activity!

To prepare for the April 2025 event, the Town advises early registration due to the expected attendance at the event. The program is open to all who wish to volunteer.

But first:

• Organize your volunteer group. Families, neighborhoods, HOAs, civic groups, Scouts, and business groups are most common. Volunteers can also work individually! Either way, knowing the number of participants ahead of registration will help in selecting your litter pickup area.
• Find your area! The Town has prescreened locations for volunteers to collect litter. To view a map of these locations or to suggest your own, CLICK HERE. 
• Our new map will show in real time whether a location is available or not. No need to fuss about picking multiple locations if you do not want to.
• If you don't have a specific location in mind, that's okay, too! Let Town staff know during registration.
• Do not see the location you want on the map? No problem! CLICK HERE to suggest a location and Town staff will get to work adding the location to the map.

The Town has instituted a new registration process for 2025. CLICK HERE to register for the KLB April 2025 event.

 Key registration information to remember:

• Registrations must be completed, preferably ahead of the event. Town staff and volunteers will be present on the day of the event to help you with this process if you don't otherwise complete it. 
• Be sure to complete the volunteer waiver section of the registration.
• Clean up supplies may be picked up prior to the event, but worry not! Plenty of materials will be on site to accommodate registered groups.
• Any group of 10 or less is automatically entered into the Golden Grabber competition. To ensure we weigh your bags correctly, add a sticker (included in supplies for kick off event) with your team name on the bag

Join us on April 5th 2025  at 11:00 AM for the official Keep Leesburg Beautiful kick-off!

Same day registration and a send off message by Mayor Burk will be held at Raflo Park at 11am!

• Both on street and off-street parking will be available at Raflo Park (345 Harrison St. SE).
• Materials available for pick up include trash bags, stickers, vests, and trash grabbers.

Time to report your effort!

• Once your group finishes your day keeping Leesburg beautiful, submit the KLB reporting form HERE.
• This new reporting form allows groups to drop a pin and show the location of your litter bags. It is important to remember that for Public Works staff to collect bags, they must be in locations easily visible and accessible.
• Please return items! The Town politely requests the return of vests and trash grabbers for future use.
