Leesburg Crime Line and TipSubmit

Citizens wishing to provide a tip on a crime can call the Leesburg Police Department at 703- 771-4500 and ask to speak with a Detective on duty.

Callers wishing to remain anonymous can use the Leesburg CrimeLine at 703-443-TIPS (8477). Individuals using the CrimeLine are given a confidential identifier which allows for call-back if additional information is needed. Information that leads to the identification and successful conviction of a suspect in a criminal case may be eligible for a monetary reward as determined by the governing body of the CrimeLine.

The department can also receive information from the public using a program called TIPSUBMIT. Tips about a specific crime or criminal activity can be sent by text, email or smartphone.
