Helping Law Enforcement Connect with Everyone in Our Community The Blue Envelope Program is a voluntary program designed to improve interactions between law enforcement and individuals with conditions or disabilities that may result in communication challenges. The program is completely free, voluntary, and available to anyone who may benefit. There is no registration or enrollment process required to participate, and individuals do not need to provide any proof of their condition or disability. Because we respect your privacy, the program does not track or maintain records of participants. |
What are they? The special blue envelopes contain an area where an individual can voluntarily share information about their disability or condition in order to help officers and deputies quickly understand specific communication needs
The envelopes also provide a convenient storage for copies of essential documents:
- Copy of Driver's license
- Vehicle registration
- Proof of insurance
