About the Unit
The Leesburg Police Department’s K-9 Unit enhances public safety by deploying specially trained police dogs and their handlers in support of patrol and investigative operations. LPD K-9 Unit History

The Role of the LPD K-9 Unit
K-9 teams consist of a sworn officer partnered with a trained police dog.
