Project Description:  The Town executed a service agreement with Microsoft (dated 3/5/24) to provide additional water and sewer availability to the Microsoft campus (data centers IAD-01 through-05).  Pursuant to this agreement, the Town and Microsoft are developing an infrastructure agreement that sets forth Microsoft’s financial responsibilities for water and sewer system upgrades necessary for the additional water and sewer availability, and the parties’ roles and responsibilities in delivering these projects, which are identified as:

1. Lower Sycolin Sewage Pump Station (SPS) Improvements (construction contract has been awarded);
2. Route 643 Booster Pump Station improvements (in design);
3. Pressure Surge Protection (scope being developed); and
4. Compass Creek-Sycolin Road Waterline Connection (preliminary alignment completed).
