Project Description: This project provides for the design and construction of roadway and sidewalk improvements on Valley View Avenue. Through traffic on Valley View Avenue has been blocked by barricades since the street was extended north as part of the Crestwood Hamlet Development during the 1970s. Since that time, the need for the interconnection has increased with the growth in population in Leesburg. This need has increased with the construction of the White Oak Development at the old Rogers Farm site. Opening the street to through traffic will improve interconnectivity between residential communities and will improve access for emergency vehicles and Town services. This project will improve sustainability in the Town by improving bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure and providing more efficient service delivery for trash, recycling, and other Town collections.

Project Updates: There is no funding for this project until Fiscal Year 2031.
