Project Description:  Tuscarora Creek has significantly deteriorated the low water crossing between two cul-de-sacs on Lawson Road. A new stream crossing will provide bicycle and pedestrian access to the W&OD Trail from adjacent residential communities. Construction of the project will be completed in 2026, with a FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) LOMR (Letter of Map Revision) to be completed following construction completion. This project will improve sustainability in the Town by improving bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure.

Project Updates: As of July 8, 2026 – The contractor continues progress on sidewalk installation.  The box culvert, paved ditch, and sidewalk on the residential side are now complete.
