Chesapeake Bay TMDL Phase III project information from Fiscal Year 2026 Budget (Project No. 25401)

Project Description: Chesapeake Bay Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) pollution requirement reductions, Phase III. This project is in accordance with the Town's Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS-4) permit for the period 2023 - 2028. The project will include  retrofit to existing stormwater management ponds/facilities. The Town will apply for grant funding from the Stormwater Local Assistance Fund (SLAF), which could cover up to half of the construction costs.

Project Updates:  Design is expected to begin in the spring of 2026.
