Project Description: The Town police station, or Public Safety Center, located on Plaza Street was completed in 1997.  Since that time, the population of Leesburg has doubled and the police operations have grown proportionately.  In 2010, a space needs study was prepared to assess options for meeting the short- and long-term facility needs of the police department.

One critical need identified was for additional space for secured evidence storage and crime analysts.  This project expanded and renovated the current technical support building located behind the main police station building by adding approximately 1,900 square feet for evidence storage.  This building includes the evidence storage facility and the crime analysis Police Station Tech Support Building Aerialarea.

Project Status:  This project was completed in the summer of 2013.
