Portion of South King Street to Close in Conjunction with September’s Leesburg First Friday

Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes between 6:30 and 10:00 p.m.

Leesburg, VA (September 3, 2019) – South King Street, from Market to Loudoun streets, will be closed to traffic during Leesburg First Friday on Friday, September 6, 2019. 

A new event, “Stroll the Street”, was organized by the owner of 27 South, Nick McCarter, and will take place in conjunction with Leesburg’s First Friday.

The road closure is expected to take place between 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes until the road has been reopened to the public. For more information, visit or
