Local Artists Invited to Participate in Annual “Art in Your Yard” Event
Residents are encouraged to share, sell, or perform on Saturday, September 12.
This year's event will coincide with the Leesburg Movement's Annual Sidewalk Sale, which has expanded to include the Muz & Rose's Tag Sale, creating even more opportunities for artists to showcase and sell their work.
Artists are invited to display or sell photography, paintings, drawings, sculptures, ceramics, and other original works from the comfort of their own front yard. Performance artists are also encouraged to participate. Registration is available at https://leesburgva.info/ArtInYourYard26.
Don't have a yard? Artists can indicate on the registration form that they would like to be paired with a host yard. A limited number of spaces are also available at the Muz & Rose's Tag Sale location.
Have a yard but no art? Residents can volunteer to host an artist in their front yard. Host locations will be included on an online event map, allowing visitors to take a self-guided tour of participating locations throughout Leesburg.
The registration deadline is Wednesday, September 9. COPA will create and publish an online map featuring all participating locations to help guide visitors during the event. Participation is limited to locations within the Town of Leesburg.
