A Brief History of Leesburg Presentation Scheduled at Thomas Balch Library

Leesburg, VA (July 30, 2026) - Thomas Balch Library will host Betsy Arnett for her presentation on “A Brief History of Leesburg.” The event will be held on Thursday, August 6, at 10:00 a.m.
During the talk, the public will experience an illustrated journey through nearly three centuries of Leesburg history.
Over her 20+ years with the Town of Leesburg, Arnett served in a variety of roles, including Senior Management Analyst with the Town Manager’s Office before retiring in February 2025. She holds a master’s degree in Public History from the University of South Carolina.
