Leesburg, VA (July 23, 2026) – Thomas Balch Library is offering one more opportunity to experience July’s pop-up exhibit at the Donaldson Log Cabin it before it closes. 

Library staff will reopen its Tracing the Revolution in Leesburg exhibit for a special final viewing at the Donaldson Log Cabin on Thursday, July 30, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The exhibit explores how the American Revolution shaped life in Leesburg and Loudoun County through a selection of materials from Thomas Balch Library's collections. Visitors will have the chance to discover stories of the people, places, and events that connected the local community to the broader history of the American Revolution.

Among the featured items is the 1776 Sheriff Bond of Philip Noland, offering a glimpse into Loudoun County during a pivotal moment in American history. Additional documents and artifacts help illustrate how historians use primary sources to better understand the past.

Visitors can also pick up the companion self-guided walking tour, which explores Revolutionary-era sites throughout Leesburg's historic district.
