Post Date:07/21/2026 2:56 PM
Equality Loudoun Ribbon CuttingLeesburg, VA (July 21, 2026) – Equality Loudoun celebrated the grand opening of its new community center with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Saturday, July 18, marking a significant milestone for the organization and the region’s LGBTQ+ community.

Located at 1507 Dodona Terrace SE, Suite 105, at the Village at Leesburg, the new center provides a dedicated space for connection, support, and community-building. After nearly two decades of gathering in borrowed and temporary spaces, Equality Loudoun now has a permanent home where community members can come together, build relationships, and access opportunities for engagement.

"So many in our community feel isolated and alone,” sad Equality Loudoun’s Board President Leigh Guarinello. “This is a place for connection that meets people where they are, whether you want to find new friends, learn a new skill, or read quietly, knowing the folks in the next room welcome you as you are."

The community center will serve as a welcoming gathering place for residents of all backgrounds, offering opportunities for social connection, educational programming, and community resources.
