Verizon Discontinues Government Access Channel 35; Public Meetings Now Available on Channel 2135

Leesburg, VA (July 7, 2026) – Verizon has discontinued standard-definition channel 35, which has previously broadcast Town of Leesburg public meetings.

Verizon will continue to broadcast Town public meetings on high-definition channel 2135. Xfinity/Comcast subscribers may view Leesburg’s public meetings on channels 67 or 1074.

The Town currently broadcasts the meetings of its adjudicatory bodies—the Town Council, Planning Commission, Board of Architectural Review, and Board of Zoning Appeals. Meetings of the Economic Development Commission and Technology & Communications Commission, which meet monthly in Council Chamber, are also broadcast.

All Town meetings are also available to view via webcast at www.leesburgva.gov/webcasts.
