Leesburg Police Investigating Armed Robbery at ATM

Leesburg, VA (June 25, 2026) – The Leesburg Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred last week at the ATM located outside of the Bank of America. 

On June 25, 2026, the victim reported that the robbery occurred while using the ATM outside of the Bank of America at 505 E. Market Street on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, between 10:30 and 11:00 p.m. According to the victim, two unknown suspects approached while he was at the ATM and demanded money. During the encounter, one of the suspects displayed a firearm. The victim complied with the suspects' demands, and the suspects fled the area with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No injuries were reported during the incident.  The suspects are described as two Hispanic males who were wearing face coverings.

The investigation remains active as detectives work to identify the individuals involved. Anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the area or has information related to this incident is asked to contact the Leesburg Police Department Criminal Investigations Division at 703-771-4500.
