Two Arrested Following Robbery and Unlawful Entry Incident

Leesburg, VA (May 18, 2026) – Two subjects were arrested by the Leesburg Police Department on Sunday, May 17, 2026, following a reported breaking and entering and robbery at an apartment in the 100 block of Clubhouse Drive SW.

At approximately 7:15 a.m., officers responded to the area for a report of a possible breaking and entering in progress. The investigation revealed that the three subjects entered the apartment, confronted the occupants, and one subject implied that he possessed a weapon.

During the incident, one of the subjects removed property belonging to one of the occupants before the group left the scene on foot. Responding officers quickly located and detained all three individuals a short distance away. Officers also recovered the victim’s belongings from the suspects.

The following individuals have been charged:

  • Christian Marquez Aguilar, age 26, of Fairfax, was charged with robbery and unlawful entry.
  • Josue Zelaya Alvarenga, age 20, of Herndon, was charged with possession of stolen property and unlawful entry.

Charges are pending for a third individual who is a juvenile.  

Both Marquez Aguilar and Zelaya Alvarenga were transported to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center, where they are being held on no bond.  The juvenile has been referred to the Department of Youth Services.
