Leesburg Residents Encouraged to Go Solar

Since 2014, Solarize Virginia has supported thousands of homeowners across the Commonwealth in exploring solar energy through a streamlined approach that combines education, pre-vetted installers, and competitive pricing.

This year’s program will place additional emphasis on financing options in light of recent federal changes, along with the long-term financial and environmental benefits of solar. As energy costs rise and policies evolve, more households are considering solar as a way to gain greater control over their energy use and expenses.

“There is so much information about solar that it can feel overwhelming,” said Sustainability Manager Deb Moran. “With incentives changing and financing options evolving, this program brings everything together to help residents determine what type of solar solution may be right for them.”

LEAP will host a series of informational webinars, community events, and one-on-one consultations to help participants evaluate whether solar is a good fit for their home, and to better understand costs, financing, and utility considerations. Residents can sign up to receive free, no-obligation support at www.solarizeva.org.

The program includes a personalized solar assessment, installation quote, and guidance on available incentives and rebate programs. The current campaign runs through July 15.
