Public Invited to Attend Virtual Parks & Recreation Community Vision Session
Leesburg, VA (April 16, 2026) – The public will have a final opportunity to share feedback for the update to the Leesburg Parks & Recreation Master Plan during a virtual community vision session at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 21.
The 20-Year Comprehensive Parks and Recreation Master Plan has been under development since fall 2025. The Town has contracted with Berry Dunn, a national consulting firm, to lead the effort under the theme “Small Town Charm – Big Ideas.”
Community vision sessions offer the public an opportunity to share feedback directly with Town staff and Berry Dunn employees that will aid in defining long-term priorities, desired outcomes, and investment direction for the master plan. It also provides attendees insight into where the Parks & Recreation Department is in the master planning process and the input provided thus far.
The virtual session is open to any interested members of the public. The meeting can be accessed via https://leesburgva.info/VisionSession.
