New Exhibit Explores Leesburg’s Botanical History

Botanical Exhibit at TBLLeesburg, VA (April 14, 2026) – The public is invited to explore a botanical-themed exhibit now on display at Thomas Balch Library.

The exhibit highlights the botanical history of Leesburg and Loudoun County, showcasing how residents have cultivated both ornamental and practical landscapes over generations. Materials on display illustrate the region’s rich horticultural traditions, drawing from sources such as garden club records and personal journals.

The exhibit will be on display in the library’s lower-level meeting room through Monday, June 1, and can be viewed during regular library hours: Monday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday from 2 to 8 p.m., Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m.
