Sterling Library to Lead Preservation Workshop at Thomas Balch Library

Save Your Stories GraphicLeesburg, VA (April 9, 2026) – Thomas Balch Library will host the staff from Sterling Library for a presentation, “Save Your Stories: Preserving Photos, Film and Sound at Sterling Public Library” on Thursday, April 23, at 10 a.m. This event will be held in-person and online.  

Preserve your family history using the Sterling Library’s preservation equipment for photographs, slides, negatives, videos, cassettes, and vinyl records. Participants will learn how these devices support digitization and long-term care of fragile formats and cherished memories.
