Leesburg, VA (April 1, 2026) – The Leesburg Utilities Department has released the Town’s 2025 Water Quality Report.
The report is designed to inform the Leesburg community about the quality of water that the Town delivers every day. It includes detailed information on where your water comes from, how it’s treated, and on-going water system improvements.
Since 1999, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has required drinking water providers to publish annual water quality reports. Leesburg’s report provides customers with information about the sources, treatment, and testing of their drinking water as well as an overview of federal drinking water regulations.
“The dedication of our Water Supply Division employees to providing safe, clean drinking water is evident in everything they do,” stated Mayor Kelly Burk. “Leesburg maintains high water quality standards that our plant employees consistently uphold, reflecting our strong commitment to delivering safe, reliable drinking water to our residents every day.”
The report can be viewed online at www.leesburgva.gov/waterqualityreport.
A limited number of print copies of the report are available. Hard copies will be available for pick-up at Town Hall (25 West Market Street). Customers who would like a print copy or have questions about their drinking water quality can contact the Utilities Department Water Supply Division at 703-737-7110.
