Leesburg, VA (March 11, 2026) – The Leesburg Police Department will host a hiring event on Saturday, April 11, beginning at 8:00 a.m. at Heritage High School, offering qualified applicants the opportunity to complete several steps in the department’s hiring process during a single event.
Participants who have pre-registered and completed an employment application will have the opportunity to take part in multiple components of the selection process, including panel interviews, a writing assessment, and a physical abilities assessment, all conducted onsite. The department’s goal is to identify qualified candidates and move forward with the hiring process that supports a projected June 2026 hire date, with the next academy beginning in July.
The event is designed to accelerate the hiring process and provide candidates with an opportunity to demonstrate their qualifications while learning more about a career with the Leesburg Police Department.
Representatives from the department will also be available to answer questions about the hiring process, training, benefits, and career opportunities.
