Terri Parent shares more than 20 photographs featuring still life subjects, including florals, animals, and landscapes. Many of her pieces are printed on canvas, creating a bold and dramatic statement. Parent also offers an extensive collection of cards and prints created from her photographs. She said her photography is simply a reflection of her beliefs and that every day is a gift.

The exhibit will be on display through the end of May. The public is invited to view it in-person during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Parent is a member of Gateway Gallery, an artist cooperative in Round Hill, VA, where she currently serves as president. She is also a member of and exhibits with the Loudoun Sketch Club, Artists in Middleburg, the Shenandoah Arts Council, and Franklin Park Art Center. In addition, she serves on the planning committee for the Western Loudoun Artists Studio Tour and will participate as a juried artist in the tour scheduled for June 5 to 7.

The first-floor lobby and hallway of the Leesburg Town Hall feature rotating exhibits by Leesburg and Loudoun artists. Those interested in having their work considered for a future exhibit should contact Leah Kosin, staff liaison to the Commission on Public Art, at lkosin@leesburgva.gov.
