Weeklong Daytime Closures on North Street Begin Monday, March 2
Leesburg, VA (February 27, 2026) – North Street NW between Wirt Street and North King Street will be closed during daytime hours beginning Monday, March 2, through Friday, March 6. Work hours will be from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
The closure is for drainage inlet repairs. The street is too narrow to accommodate the equipment required for the repairs with a single-lane closure, so a full road closure is necessary. Access will be maintained to residences and businesses in the affected block.
In the event of inclement weather, work will be rescheduled to the following week, Monday, March 9, through Friday, March 13.
