Utilities Department Responding to Water Main Break at South King/Catoctin Intersection

staff member working on a water main break undergroundLeesburg, VA (January 28, 2026) – Staff from the Town’s Utilities Department responded this morning to an 8-inch water main break at the intersection of South King Street and Catoctin Circle.

The break has been repaired, and crews are currently working to restore the roadway and complete cleanup efforts. A limited number of customers experienced a brief water service interruption, which has since been restored.

Motorists should expect delays in the area and are advised to follow police direction and posted signage. Use caution when traveling through the intersection, as icy conditions may be present due to the earlier break.
