Town Facilities Closed Tuesday, January 27

Leesburg, VA (January 26, 2026) – Due to continued impacts of the winter storm, Town government facilities will remain closed Tuesday, January 27. Employees who staff essential Town operations and other essential services will work as scheduled. 

The closure includes Leesburg Town Hall, Ida Lee Park Recreation Center, Ida Lee Tennis Center, and the Thomas Balch Library.

The Town Council meeting scheduled for Tuesday, January 27, has been cancelled. Agenda items will be moved to the Council’s February 9-10 meetings.

Operations at Leesburg Executive Airport have resumed and are not impacted by the closure.

There will be no trash and recycling collection on Tuesday, January 27. The revised weekly collection schedule can be found on the Town website.

Residents are asked to check the “In the Spotlight” section of the homepage at www.leesburgva.gov or the Town’s Facebook page for continued updates.
