Town Offices Closed on Monday, January 26

Post Date:01/25/2026 8:15 PM

Leesburg, VA (January 25, 2026) – Due to the impacts of the winter storm, all Town offices will be closed on Monday, January 26. Employees who staff essential Town operations and other essential services will work as scheduled. Normal operations are expected to resume Tuesday.

The Town Council work session scheduled for Monday evening has been cancelled. At this time, both topics that were on the agenda for discussion Monday night—the annual financial update and a discussion on one-way pair configuration for Loudoun and Market streets—have been moved to the Council’s January 27 business meeting agenda. Any changes to Tuesday’s Council business meeting agenda will be announced by 4 p.m. Monday.

Additionally, Ida Lee Park Recreation Center, Ida Lee Tennis Center, and Thomas Balch Library will remain closed. Leesburg Executive Airport may resume flights on Monday depending on runway conditions.

There will be no trash and recycling collection on Monday. This week’s collections are currently scheduled to shift by one day. Collection schedules are subject to change, and any further changes to the schedule will be announced.

Updates will be made as they become available to the Town’s website, www.leesburgva.gov, and the Town’s Facebook page.
