Post Date:01/24/2026 5:17 PM

Leesburg, VA (January 24, 2026) – Ida Lee Park Recreation Center, Ida Lee Tennis Center, and the Thomas Balch Library will be closed Sunday, January 25, due to the winter storm.

In addition, there will be no trash and recycling collection on Monday, January 26. All collections will be shifted by one day. Additional news releases will be issued should further changes be necessary.

Both Ida Lee Park Recreation Center and Ida Lee Tennis Center are expected to close at their normal hours this evening. Should the facilities need to close early, an announcement will be made on the Town website and Town Facebook page.

Throughout the snowstorm, residents are asked to check the “In the Spotlight” section of the homepage at www.leesburgva.gov where updates will be regularly provided on Town government operations, including trash and recycling collection or any changes in next week’s public meeting schedule. Staff will also provide updates at least three times a day on the Town’s Facebook page. News releases will be issued as necessary.
