Leesburg Police Investigating Burglary at Exxon Gas Station

Leesburg, VA (January 5, 2026) – The Leesburg Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred early Sunday morning, January 4, 2026, at the Exxon Gas Station, located at 148 Catoctin Circle SE in Leesburg.

At approximately 2:00 a.m., two suspects forced entry by breaking the front door of the business and stole an undisclosed amount of merchandise. The suspects are described as follows: Suspect 1 was wearing dark-colored clothing, purple gloves, a white mask, and was carrying a black bag. Suspect 2 was wearing dark-colored clothing, white shoes, purple gloves, and was carrying a dark-colored backpack.

Investigators are particularly interested in speaking with any witnesses who may have seen or heard suspicious activity in the area around that time.
