Leesburg Police to Sell Shirts for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Post Date:09/09/2025 3:12 PM
Leesburg, VA (September 9, 2025) – In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Leesburg Police Department is proud to announce the release of a limited-edition, custom-designed shirt to raise awareness and funds to support those affected by breast cancer. The shirts are available to purchase through September 21, 2025, with all proceeds benefiting Inova Loudoun Hospital Cancer Assistance Fund.

T-shirts and sweatshirts are available in adult sizes and can be purchased online at LINK ( https://bit.ly/LPDGoesPink2025).  When ordering, you will have the option to have your shirt shipped to your address or pick it up at the Leesburg Police Department (65 Plaza Street NE).  Department pick-up dates and times will be announced shortly.  The shirts are estimated to be delivered on October 8, 2025.

Last year, thanks to your generosity, we raised $1,471 for the fund — and we’re aiming even higher this year!

Breast Cancer Awareness Month, observed every October, is a time to increase awareness about the disease and raise funds for research into its cause, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and cure. The Leesburg Police Department is joining the effort by not only raising awareness through the sale of shirts but also offering a meaningful way for the community to get involved.
