No Trash, Recycling, or Yard Waste Collections on Labor Day Holiday
All Town collections will shift by one day.
Post Date:08/26/2025 1:02 PMLeesburg, VA (August 26, 2025) – There will be no trash, recycling, or yard waste collections in the Town of Leesburg on Monday, September 1 due to the Labor Day holiday. The revised holiday schedule for residential customers for trash and recycling collection is as follows:
• Monday, September 1 - No collections
• Tuesday, September 2 - NW and Town-wide yard waste collection
• Wednesday, September 3 - NE, inside the Bypass
• Thursday, September 4 - NE, outside the Bypass
• Friday, September 5 - SW plus Meadowbrook
• Saturday, September 6 - SE, except Meadowbrook
The revised holiday schedule for curbside commercial customers for trash and recycling collection is as follows:
Customers are encouraged to stay informed about schedule changes, service alerts, and collection reminders by registering their address with Recycle Coach, a digital platform designed to help residents manage waste and recycling more effectively. The free app can be downloaded on iOS and Android devices in addition to being available on the Town of Leesburg’s website.
