Town Public Hearing Notices Now Published Online
Post Date:08/25/2025 12:59 PMLeesburg, VA (August 25, 2025) – Beginning September 1, Town of Leesburg public hearing notices will be published online via the website for Loudoun Now, the Town’s publication of record.
Effective September 1, Loudoun Now will eliminate its printed product and move to an online-only news publication. Legislation passed by the Virginia General Assembly in 2024 allows the Town and other local governments to fulfill public notice requirements by advertising in qualified online-only news publications. All public hearings required by State law or Town Code or ordinance will continue to be published in Loudoun Now, in its new online-only format.
Public hearings for capital projects with federal government funding, such as roads projects, will continue to be advertised in a newspaper.
All public hearings will continue to be advertised on the Town of Leesburg website.
