Public Invited to Participate in Upcoming Independence Day Parade
Civic groups, youth organizations, community groups, families, and others are encouraged to apply.
The parade will begin at Ida Lee Park, travel south on King Street, and conclude at Fairfax Street. Civic groups, youth organizations, community groups, families, and others are encouraged to participate. Entry to participate is FREE!
Pre-registration is recommended. The registration form and parade guidelines are available online at www.leesburgva.gov/events.
This year’s parade will include a special prelude performance by the American Originals. The event will also feature the annual Patriot Cup Competition, sponsored by Loudoun Now, recognizing the best parade entry. The winning group’s name will be engraved on the Patriot Cup—proudly displayed in the Town Hall trophy case outside the Council Chamber—and they will also receive a personal replica of the award during a Town Council meeting.
