Revolution on Screen: The Story of a Patriot (1957) with Richard T. Gillespie

Join us for a lively discussion series exploring how the American Revolution has been portrayed in film and television. Watch the selected movie or episode beforehand, then join a discussion on historical accuracy, character depictions, and storytelling—led by local historians. This month's selection is the 1957 film Williamsburg: The Story of a Patriot, produced by Paramount Pictures and the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, which serves as Colonial Williamsburg’s long‑running visitor orientation movie and has been continuously shown since its debut in 1957.
