Revolution on Screen: Drums Along the Mohawk (1939) with William Wilkin

Join us for a lively discussion series exploring how the American Revolution has been portrayed in film and television. Watch the selected movie or episode beforehand, then join a discussion on historical accuracy, character depictions, and storytelling—led by local historians. June's selection will be Drums Along the Mohawk, a 1939 historical western drama directed by John Ford, the film adapts Walter D. Edmonds’ 1936 novel and stars Henry Fonda and Claudette Colbert under producer Darryl F. Zanuck. Local historian William Wilkin will lead the discussion. View before the event free on Daily Motion.
