Revolution on Screen: Ben and Me, with Laura Christiansen

Join us for a lively discussion series exploring how the American Revolution has been portrayed in film and television. Watch the selected movie or episode beforehand, then join a discussion on historical accuracy, character depictions, and storytelling—led by local historians. Kick off our Revolution on Screen series with Disney’s classic short film Ben and Me (1953), adapted from Robert Lawson’s beloved book, and join Library Director Laura Christiansen for a discussion on its whimsical take on Benjamin Franklin and Revolutionary history.
