Thomas Balch Library has a new venue for sharing Leesburg’s history, the Donaldson Log Cabin, located at 14 Loudoun St. SW next to the Town Hall Parking Garage.  

Staff and volunteers are using the space for processing archival collections and hosting pop-up exhibits during Leesburg’s popular First Friday events. Exhibits and events will be scheduled at the cabin throughout the year.

 

First Friday at the Donaldson Cabin: Botanical World & Seeds

Spring is just around the corner! This exhibit will explore the botanical history of Leesburg and Loudoun County through seeds, plants, and agricultural records. We’ll showcase scrapbooks, seed collections, and photographs of the many home gardens and local garden organizations.

Drop in at any time during the event. No registration required.
