TO CONSIDER TOWN PLAN AMENDMENT TLTA-2018-0001
RUSSELL BRANCH RETAL
Pursuant to Sections 15.2-1427, 15.2-2204, 15.2-2205 and 15.2-2285 of the Code of Virginia, 1950, as amended, the Leesburg Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the Town Council Chambers, 25 West Market Street, Leesburg, Virginia 20176, to consider Town Plan Amendment application TLTA-2018-0001 – a request by Russell Branch Retail LC to amend Optional Use and Design criteria #21 for land designated as Regional Office in the Town Plan.
The Town Plan Amendment applies to two contiguous parcels along Russell Branch Parkway described as Loudoun County Parcel Identification Numbers (PIN): 149-46-0836 and 149-45-7383. These parcels are 17.7 and 7.3 acres respectively. They are bounded by E. Market St. to the north, Battlefield Parkway to the West, and Russell Branch Parkway to the South. Land to the east is currently vacant.
The parcels are zoned B-3, “Community Retail/Commercial.” The Town Plan designates this property as “Regional Office” on the Land Use Policy Map. A separate Rezoning Application (TLZM-2018-0003) has also been submitted by the applicant to revise the proffers and concept plan for the subject property
