TO CONSIDER AMENDMENTS TO THE LEESBURG ZONING ORDINANCE INCLUDING ARTICLES 6, 9 AND 18 TO ESTABLISH “AUDITORIUM” AS A NEW USE AND TO REDUCE RESTRICTIONS ON RECREATION FACILITIES IN THE I-1, RESEARCH/INDUSTRIAL PARK DISTRICT
Pursuant to Sections 15.2-1427, 15.2-2204, 15.2-2205 and 15.2-2285 of the Code of Virginia, 1950, as amended, the LEESBURG PLANNING COMMISSION will hold a public hearing on THURSDAY, JANUARY 4, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the Town Council Chambers, 25 West Market Street, Leesburg, Virginia, 20176 to consider the following amendments to the Zoning Ordinance:
Amend the Zoning Ordinance as necessary, including Article 6 Non-Residential Districts, Article 9 Use Regulations and Article 18 Definitions, to establish “auditorium” as a new use in the I-1, Industrial/Research Park District subject to use standards, and to eliminate the restriction to existing buildings only for recreation facilities in that district.
