First Session: July 07, 2008 - July 18, 2008
Second Session: July 28, 2008 - August 08, 2008

The purpose of the 8th annual Police Camp is to provide law enforcement education for future outstanding citizens. We focus on team building, leadership, conflict resolution, character education, physical fitness, juvenile law and police procedures such as finger printing and evidence collection.

The campers will be going on several field trips. We will be visiting locations such as the Loudoun County Courthouse, the magistrate’s office, and a Ropes and Initiatives Course.

After completing the two week camp, a Graduation Ceremony will be held at the Leesburg Police Department Headquarters. Parents are invited to attend.
The Junior Police Camp is free: however each camper is responsible for bringing a bag lunch each day of camp. Please pack your lunches accordingly; there will be no refrigerators available for storage. There are a maximum number of 15 campers per session, so register early.

Each camper will receive a Junior Police Camp shirt and will be required to wear this shirt while attending camp, no exceptions! Campers will also be provided with hydration systems to help them stay hydrated during more strenuous activities.
