NOTICE TO PILOTS – Leesburg Executive Airport is located within the boundaries of the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Air Defense Identification Zone. IFR flights are handled in normal fashion. VFR procedures specific to Leesburg are available, but compliance with the NOTAM is required, and rigidly enforced by the FAA. See the ‘ADIZ’ link at the left for the special procedures.
It is incumbent on all pilots to read, understand, and comply with the current ADIZ NOTAM.
