Reverse 911 - Self Registration
The Reverse 911® system is a notification tool designed to enhance emergency preparedness and notify citizens and businesses in Leesburg and Loudoun County of emergency situations that may require time sensitive actions.

The system has the ability to send a recorded message to Leesburg homes and businesses on local phone lines, providing pertinent safety information or instructions. Since the system went online in 2005, Reverse 911® has been used for weather emergencies, incidents involving hazardous materials, missing person notifications, traffic related issues, police operations, and more.

Because of the increasing popularity and usage of cell phones, wireless device numbers are now being included in the database to reach more people than ever. If you are interested in voluntarily registering your wireless device with us, follow the link below to the Self-Registration Portal on the Loudoun County Office of Emergency Management website.

Note: If you only use a landline telephone, no action is necessary as your information is already in the Reverse 911® database.
